Hello, I'm Katie Clement, the driving force behind Constructed Mind. My journey has been one of constant curiosity, deep exploration, and a committed engagement with the nuance of the world around me. From my early days as an anthropology student to my transformative experiences working as a field biologist in Australia and Alaska, I've always been drawn to the unorthodox path—one that challenges assumptions and expands perspectives.
My time spent in unusual jobs and far-flung places taught me the value of continually asking questions and trying to dig deeper than the first answers I got. This realization led me to pursue a unique blend of experiences, from studying painting in the south of France to earning master's degrees in teaching and urban planning. Each step along the way has reinforced my belief in the power of seeking knowledge and the importance of fostering genuine insight.
As a project and program manager and an educator with over 15 years of experience, I've had the privilege of championing initiatives that prioritize depth over surface-level understanding. From spearheading trauma-informed care projects to developing comprehensive curricula, my goal has always been to empower others to explore complex issues with confidence and clarity.
